The International Symposium on Critical Analytical Thinking (ISCAT), which has been organized since 2015 with the mission of creating a new and more powerful system of thought by integrating critical and analytical thinking, is opening its doors for the fourth time, this year online, on October 18-19, 2025.
With this year's theme, "The Culture of Living Together and Universal Peace," ISCAT2025 focuses on the role of critical and analytical thought in the face of the complex challenges of today's world. The symposium aims to question the possibilities of coexisting within diversity and the ethical, political, and cultural foundations of the ideal of universal peace. By providing an interdisciplinary digital dialogue platform that carries these fundamental concepts from a theoretical level to practical solution proposals, the symposium aims to make an academic contribution to the construction of a culture of living together.
Previous symposia have been observed to respond to the growing societal need for individuals who can think analytically, are open to criticism, and can take initiative. As a reflection of this need, the number of academic studies in the field of critical and analytical thinking and related courses in university curricula has increased; our symposia have provided significant momentum to this development. The symposium, actualized through the collaboration of the Academic Perspective Association and Ibn Haldun University, aims to continue this tradition on a digital platform.
In this context, the symposium brings together scientists, academicians, experts, bureaucrats, students, local governments, and non-governmental organizations on an online platform to create a common ground for sharing knowledge and experience.
All guests who wish to participate in our symposium as listeners are invited. Participation is entirely free of charge. While session links will be announced in the symposium program, we recommend registering via the Listener Registration link below to ensure that potential updates and access information are communicated to you directly. Guests who do not register can also join the sessions through the links provided in the program.
We are honored to invite you to this significant gathering where critical analytical thinking, which we believe plays a fundamental role in building healthy individuals and a prudent society, will be discussed within a broad framework. We wish you health and well-being.
