The third of the International Symposium on Critical Analytical Thinking, the first of which was held in 2015, will be held in December this year. The symposiums organized by the Academic Platform are held together with the university/universities this year, as every year. The stakeholders of ISCAT 2021 in this symposium are Ankara Social Sciences University and Sakarya University of Applied Sciences.
ISCAT has undertaken an important mission in terms of transforming critical thinking and analytical thinking, each of which are separate thinking methods, into a new and stronger thinking method/system.
We have been very pleased with the feedback from past symposiums. Because in recent years, especially in the business world, analytical thinking, critic and open to criticism, high self-confidence, initiative, high communication skills etc. The search for individuals, which he characterized as the following, has mobilized many institutions and organizations, especially the academy and education community. In many universities, courses on analytical and/or critical thinking have been included in the curriculum, and there has been a significant increase in the number of scientific articles and books. At this point, the symposiums we have held have been a significant and important driving force.
With the hope that the pandemic process and the travel difficulties will end, the symposium, which was planned to be held before, was postponed to December, but it was decided to be held online (virtual platform) as the conditions did not normalize at the expected level. Unlike other symposiums, there have been some changes due to the uncertainties caused by the pandemic. The topics were revised and the symposium program was kept as simple and limited as possible in the context of the participants.
This symposium, which is held more frequently in various parts of the world, brings together a wide audience such as scientists, academics, experts, bureaucrats, institutions, students, local governments and non-governmental organizations, and creates a suitable environment for sharing knowledge, thoughts and experiences.
We invite you to this symposium, where critical analytical thinking, which we believe is very important in the construction of healthy individuals and prudent societies, will be discussed in a broad framework, and we wish you health and well-being.
