Transfer to Symposium

Our symposium will be held at the main campus of Ibn Haldun University in Başakşehir.

For Participants Arriving from Other Cities & Abroad

1. Transportation from Istanbul Airport (IST):

  • HAVAİST Airport Shuttles: You can take the HV-15 bus line heading to Başakşehir and get off at the "Başakşehir Metrokent" stop. The campus is within walking distance from this stop.

  • Taxi: A taxi ride from the airport to the campus takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

2. Transportation from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW):

  • HAVABUS/HAVAİST + Public Transport:

    • Option 1 (Marmaray): Take the M4 Metro line from the airport to the Ayrılık Çeşmesi station. Transfer to the Marmaray line towards Halkalı. From the Halkalı station, you can reach the campus by taxi or city buses (e.g., 98H).

    • Option 2 (Metro): Take a HAVABUS shuttle to Taksim. From Taksim, take the M2 Yenikapı metro line. At Yenikapı, transfer to the M1 Atatürk Airport/Kirazlı metro line and get off at the Kirazlı station. Finally, transfer to the M3 Başakşehir/Metrokent line and get off at the "Metrokent" station. The campus is within walking distance.

  • Taxi: A taxi ride from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to the campus takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on traffic and bridge congestion.

3. Transportation from the Main Bus Terminal (Esenler Otogar):

  • From inside the terminal, take the M1 Yenikapı metro line and get off at the Kirazlı station. From there, transfer to the M3 Başakşehir/Metrokent line and get off at the "Metrokent" station.

For Participants Traveling Within Istanbul

  • Metro: You can use the M3 Başakşehir/Metrokent metro line and get off at the "Metrokent" station, which is a short walk from the campus.

  • IETT Public Buses: Some bus lines that pass near the university campus include: 78F, 78ZB, 79F, 98H, MK22. We recommend checking the official IETT website for the most up-to-date routes and schedules.

  • Private Car: If you are arriving by car, you can easily find the university by entering "Ibn Haldun University" into your navigation application. The university has a parking lot available.
